Detector(s) used
Garrett Ace 250,Minelab Excalibur 2,Tesoro Sand Shark
Primary Interest:
Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
Hi All.I got out to the Beach for 6 hours today, with the Ace 250 and the Excalibur 2. I searched from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 with the Ace 250,as I waited for the tide to go out,and found $2.66 in clad. Then,a man, named Bob approached me and asked if my detector would work in the water. He said that he had lost his white gold wedding ring and asked if I could search for it.I got the Excalibur 2 out of the car and searched the area where he thought he had lost the ring, but found nothing. I asked Bob for his address, so I could return his ring,in case I found it at low tide.He gave me his address and I hunted further down the beach.I hunted my way back to the area about 1 1/2 hours before full low tide and began searching for the ring. Then, about 20 minutes later,I dug a low tone signal and it was the lost ring.I will mail it out to him on Monday.I'm glad I was able to find it for Bob.
Please let me know if you are getting tired of hearing about these ring returns. HH everyone.
