I sniffed out another button today. I found it in the first few minutes of the hunt. I didn't find much after that.

69th Regiment... again! This one is a different style.

The 69th (South Lincolnshire) Regiment of Foot was an infantry regiment of the British Army, formed in 1758 and amalgamated into The Welsh Regiment in 1881.

I would imagine that Leslie NS was finding some of those buttons from the NS time they spent there, and possibly yours too
