PS: I used the Nam reference because this song's title reminded me of the phrase 'in country' referring to vets going to VN during that war or in describing their experiences there.

Canned heat was formed by two blues enthusiasts Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson and Bob "The Bear" Hite was the heart and soul of Canned Heat and unfortunately both died of drug overdoses, although Wilson's death is thought of as suicide, Bob Hite accidentally over dosed when handed what he thought was baggie of cocaine, it was actually heroin and he snorted large quantity of heroin.

Loved the music of 60s and 70s.
