Found late 1800 to 1920 store in Texas,

Could this be some sort of tool, one end has a hole and the other end has three “protrusions” ? Any help would be appreciated.

It's a handel for old wood burning cook stove, that little nob on the end pick up the lid to re-fuel the stove

Rough pictures and rough relic!

It hints of a wood boring bit, but just as much hints of fractured wrought iron with it's fibrous nature.

The end appears to be just that, a wood stove tool, the curving of handle through me off. And yep, who knows, I will clean it up a bit and see if it could be fracture end or other.
