Another military button?

I am unsure of this button, looks similar to the war of 1812 artillery button, but it appears to have a D C under the cannon as well ad only 6 cannon balls and the cannon is facing to the left. Many pewter buttons from this site, I posted many of the military buttons on earlier post from this site. This site appears to be war of 1812 or around that era. The button is still encrusted and I hope after soaking it will reveal more. Any ideas?

maybe. I do see the wheel of what is likely a cannon. Too worn/dirty to make a positive identification though.

Looks like some gilt under there. Soaking in lemon juice usually attacks the corrosion build up very well.... unless you did something like soak it in olive oil.
