Is known as a Tranquille River, though once in a while, with the pleasant drawl of the river and a comphy rock to sit on while enjoying a snack one can be scared almost stiff by others hiking by.. Even if they politely notice you and say ''Hello''... All in all was a decent day, picked up an old copper boot soul tack and a heavy black stone that looks to contain gold flakes and of course a few bits of gold.🙂

Nice looking chunks!

Say since you're in BC, you don't happen to be very familiar with PioneerPauly do you? I don't really care for the whole youtube personality but the gold looks nice, kind of like what you've got. He snipes on the Sooke river right? or is it somewhere else?
Thank You! Chunky bits are few and can be far between on that 'creek'.

Am familiar with Pioneer Pauly's vids on YouTube yep, made him a small retort for removing mercury from gold a while back. He snipes, prospects and holds claims on Vancouver Island.
