I spent a good while today at an old house where the people were cleaning out the attic. I ended up with a nice collection of 1800's photos, and a few other trinkets, plus the Confederate hundred I posted in What Is It trying to determine if it is real like I suspect it is. Down in the bottom I found this cool stock certificate from 1942 good for 500 shares of the Bolivia Gold Exploration Company. I thought it was really neat finding it on the same day as I found my first gold of the year. Sorry about the pic quality (it's my semi literate phone) I'll try to get them scanned tonight if possible. All in all, a great day!

Because it's a larger denomination , that note could be a valuable find - Keep us posted - Argentium .

it could pay to research the stock certificate. the company may still exist, or may now be under a different name. it could be worth a large sum now

Congrats on those paper finds and thanks for showing!
Going over to whatsit to see the progress :hello:

Well this is the very cool. Good work on the clean up.

nice. that bill is selling for 50+ on ebay, or more depending on condition. good finds!

Great finds. I would definitely do some research on that certificate. Looks to be in great shape. The company still might be in business.
