Got out this weekend for two hunts for about 5 hours . Yesterday was the better of the hunts  . Hunted an older area of San Jose with eagleforce ( Ryan ) and did pretty good  . I found three rings , one being 925 silver with a blue stone . This brings my ring total for the year to #129  . I also found a sterling ear ring :icon_thumright: . The best finds were a 1939 plain mercury dime at 5 inches :hello2: . It was a clean +81 vdi in a dirt area . Then about 10 minutes later in the same dirt area I found a 1944 wheat cent at 4 inches .The other wheat in the picture I got in change today , a 1945D. Ryan also found two wheats in the same area  . After about two hours we were ready to leave . I thought I would dig one more target and I'm glad I did  . It was a +45 at 6-7 inches . As I dug out the dirt out popped a coin . It turned out to be an old Chinese cash coin , my 2nd this year . It dates from 1796 - 1820 , Emperor Jen Tsung . Not as special as the Reale I found last weekend but I'll take it :headbang:! Total clad for both hunts is $15.96 .

Wow! Wish I could get even just One item you listed....

Congrats

Incredible. Man, that place has some history. You guys are going to hit some gold coin or nugget one day too. Just awesome. Love the jewelry. Have you ever looked at old aerials here? NETR Online ? Historic Aerials Anyway, love to hear about some history there but then again, you don't want to say too much!

Wow, nice digs. I see your in Ca, which means that a Chinese miner most likely dropped the coin in the 1850's.

Dang cool finds.

The Reale last week was found in another city miles away from this location . Both places have history . Yesterday's hunt is near some 1800's houses .

The area we were in dates back to the 1800's .

NICE hunt Pl8man!...and WOW..that is some DRY dirt!! A couple weeks ago, I was digging in dust/rocks like that, begging for some rain..and I got my wish-it hasn't stopped raining for ten days...ugh..the religious pendants are beautiful and the rings (as usual) are awesome too...cool digs thx for sharing...ddf

Thank you for sharing your hunt and those pictures with us

Doing great as usual I see P8.

Just kidding , I know it can be like work.

Davers

I'm always amazed at all the rings you find.. I'm guessing you hunt a lot of parks, do you find a lot of silver coins along with your rings? I'm not a park guy myself I like the old homesites, but I know parks are very productive for a lot of people
