Well I haven't got time right now, but I will help Gunner by saying it starts:

DNCONS on the obverse. So its one of the Constantines or Constantius.

Reverse: SPES REIPVBLICA - type

Probably a AE3/4 but you need to quote diameter in mm.

It's about 16-17mm in diameter.
I'm amazed you can see those lettering, I couldn't make out anything. But then again, my eyesight ain't what it used to be. I really don't want to have to wear glasses. Not a vanity thing, it seems it would just be a hassle.

99% Constantius II likelihood

The only emperor with "Cons" sporting a reverse of SPES REIPVBLICE was
Constantius II with his AE4 minted in period AD354 to AD361. The figure is
the Emperor himself standing left holding Globe and Spear. The Sears No is
4011 with RIC 213 valued at £15. Could not find one with anything in the
field except a SIRMIUM (Sremska Mitrovica, Yugoslavia) minted one which had
and S in left & dot in Right field but style of Emperor not that similiar to
example. Anyway, I think I can see a NS in Mint exergue so my betting is
CONS for Constantinople. Obverse would be DN CONSTANTIVS PF AVG and I can
just make out a possible VG at end. Overall his reign was AD337-361 and he
was the 2nd son of Constantine the great & Fausta.

I don't know what language Dugfinds is speaking, but it sounds great. ;D
Some of you folks really know your stuff out there.

Thanks, Dugfinds.
I kinda understand the description from my many hours of trying to ID some of my ancients. I just never know which emporer to start with my searches.

Yep. You are correct! Good job =) I would guess your coin to be from Thessalonica due to relative R.I.C. rarity and style (1st attached Pic is Cyzicus but the best condition picture I could find..2nd is from Thessalonica).
