Just a heads up for those who have to book vacation in advance. The Rendezvous will be a little earlier this year. The event will take place October 25, 26, and 27 at the Don's Camp. I'm sure as we get closer Wayne will be posting more information. Anyone needing more info post a reply here.

I so can't wait to attend this years Rendezvous. It being the 20th anniversary it's got to be a fun ride, right? Looking forward to meeting some of you that I've had some discussions with. It would be nice to put a face to the names of fellow Hunters.

Anyone have any idea what might entail in this year's Rendezvous?

Thanks! I plan on attending.

Make sure to say hello. I hope to break away from my smaller circle and get to meet a lot more of our community.

I too am looking forward to meeting many of you, you included AZ Gold Hunter . I'm hoping that many of us are open to hearing from each other and not segregate ourselves to JUST smaller groups of Hunters. I'm not saying small groups are a bad thing - it just makes the experience 'less palatable' than it could be. Opening up to each other - allowing ourselves to be open to what others have to share, is priceless and it might clear up some foggy ideas we all have about the things we're interested in.

Bring water and food to meet your needs. Don't eat Wayne's beens! If you do extra TP.

Looking forward to meeting you all there, at Rendezvous. Sounds like the weather will be perfect on that weekend. What's the status on the Siphon Draw fire? Has it died down?

Siphon Fire is over but the wilderness that was burned is closed until October 20th. A lot of the Supes are still open. Hopefully the weather continues to cool and give us a great weekend. See you soon

Excellent news! Now, my original plans might just come into play after all. 🫰

Anyone needing more info about next weekend's 20th Annual Dutch Rendezvous please message me direct. I will try and answer all. I know a few coming that are new to the event, and I want to make sure you have a great time. If you happen to attend, please introduce yourself. I should be camped at the top closest to the Mountain. Look for a canopy with a flag.

- Reminder gates open at 12 PM. on Friday Oct 25th. Event ends Sunday the 27th and most leave 10ish and last ones by noon.

- There are bathrooms but no running water. Make sure if you are camping that you remember to bring what you need.

- If you use Google Maps you can search "Don's Camp", and it should show up. When you pull off Peralta Road you will see a parking lot. That is not the camp. Head to the northwest corner of that lot there is a gravel road going to the east. That will take you to the gates of the camp.

- If you are coming for the speakers portion only. This will be held on Saturday October 26th. Plan to arrive 3:30PM to get a good seat and to say hello. Depending on the attendance it will more than likely be held in the Amphitheater.

- If you intend on camping, please make sure and leave the camp the way you found it. Please take your trash with you.

Only rules are that all personal drama is left at the gates. This includes any issues you might have with someone attending.

Second have a great time and enjoy the living history that is present with all who attend!

A quick add to the requests. Please do not use the metal barrels for trash. Years past people put stuff that leaks and it creates a mess to clean up after everyone is gone. Bring a large plastic garbage bag and take it with you when you pull out. Thank you su much and see you at the camp
