More inherited unknown things...

Some sort of pottery with the exception of the last stick type image, middle item. I have no clue what these are or where they are from. They came from an elderly lady that traveled the world and was heavily into archaeology. My Mom inherited them and I inherited them from her.

Clues and/or redirect post if you know enough to get them where they need to be? :dontknow:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They look like central American style artifacts. You would really need an expert in that field to authenticate them. Really cool. Hope they're authentic.

The second one in at the very top is how I look after having too much Soju.

On a serious note. Most appear to be mesoamerican in nature and form. Toltec & Olmec come to mind. Nice little collection. Are they all ceramic? The head appears to be made of bone and is something that you would find on a staff or cane or an effigy in regard to a specific person. As such is used in voodoo to form an incantation in that persons name or likeness. Hauntingly remarkable to say the least.

:laughing7: Thank you for your insight. Yes I believe the head is also some sort of clay or something similar. It is actually slightly lighter in person and you can see that it looks similar to the clay or ceramic of the other items. It does have a tiny little hole in the bottom of the neck, looks like it was used to hold it up while it dried?

I live in Colorado and would love to have someone look at these in person to authenticate. Any ideas? Possibly in the Denver area?

Group 2 looks like the clay heads Mexicans made and threw out in their fields as an offering to help the crops grow. I have several and that's what I was told. Gary
