Ancient stone I found

Hello,
Back in 1983, my grandparents found a rock that is on the Pictures.
Today they showed me it, because they wondered what it is. They supposed it was used in the ancient times by the old People to chop the skin from Animals.
If any of you guys can help me, I would be really happy.

It is an interesting looking rock. I don't believe that it was used as a scrapper though.
