Great links Zoro. It's really interesting that the map mosaic was used to find other ruins. All the mosaics are beautiful. The photos of the desert landscapes are awesome.

Zoro, thank you very much for sharing the history of Jordan. I'm looking forward to more. I hope others come forward to share the history of their country.

I also hope to learn something about treasure signs from the ancient world.

Thanks again Zoro. Here's a link that shows the tin deposits of the ancient world. File:Tin-ancient-sources.svg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As you can see, tin was rare and it looks like Jordan was right in the middle of the top tin producing areas and also close to Cyprus where there were large deposits of copper.

I read a book titled "Where Troy Once Stood". The author had a theory that the Trojan War wasn't fought over a woman and it wasn't fought in Turkey. He believed it was fought between Celtic tribes over the tin deposits of Britain. It was a very interesting book.

here is what i believe is a ancient place, with a modern place mixed in ,at the new world.

Whenever you guys out west talked about the ancients, I thought you were talking about some of the old Indian cultures. The past few months I've been reading some about the Pheonicians and their trade networks. I guess maybe there could have been some old world cultures that sailed to North and South America. That's why I think it's important for some of our members from the Old World to show us the carvings from their countries so we can look for similarities over here. And it's a good chance to learn some more world history.

I believe your dolphin to be a shell and maybe a pointer, due to the small rock holding it at that particular angle. I would investigate the why behind that particular angle/small rock.

You're very welcome.

From the link you attached, I assume that you have found the thread very exiting.:icon_thumright:
