In search of ancient roman traces, we reached a high hill ridge covered with forest, where unfortunately I found a lot of individual military trenches from WW2 and many pieces of bombshell and cartridge tubes. I was convinced that apart from these rubbish, nothing else can be. I was already bored by the signals of these traces when suddenly, near the old road, below the ground than the presence of iron in WW2, a beautiful silver medieval ring with engraved disc came out. I couldn't believe it ... I was expecting a new cartridge tube. It seems that the old road has been an important route for many years. I think it may be from the XIII-XIV centuries, and the engraving is interesting with the 2 crosses that resemble those of the Knights of the Templar order.It is possible that ring may have slipped from the glove of a nobleman or a knight who passed on that road...
