An Outing With The Indians and A LARGE Surprise!!

A trip into the corn field, about 8" tall, was worth all the sweat. I had my best 1800s coin day so far! I retrieved four Indians, 85, 90, 92, 97 and a 47 LARGE cent. I also pulled 2 wheaties, 16 and a 19s as well as this DEERE compact.

The fertilizers really change the color of the lost field coppers , you saved them from a harsh corrosive fate .

somewhat difficult to search with 8 foot tall corn stalks still in fields , good hunting
