Had a amazing day today. Detected for 8 hours at a sight my wife secured for me. Never saw so many wheat cents at one site in my life. The place was a old inn that was now a house. Got 80 wheat cents. Yikes. lol. Got 9 silver dimes. Including one 1915 barber and a 1916 merc with a mint mark that I can't tell if it's a d or s cause it's cut off. I can only see the top line of it. One silver quarter. A buffalo nickel 2 indian heads. A 1894 something coin? A lead soldier. Some tootsie toys. And some other stuff. Some type if button maybe. I wrote what it says in the paper towel. If anyone knows anything. Also some type of bullet with a rifling to it. Also three small pocket spills. Did 40% of the site going back next week.

Nice haul!!

Could you post a picture of the 1916, front and back?

Great day....looks like you owe your wife one.....I know your bullet is a shot gun slug and I think your 1894 coin is an "Austrian 2 heller".

Wow, thats incredible. I would consider that a dream hunt, congratulations on a awesome site.

OMG! And you've only covered 40% of it! Great haul! You've got an untouched sight awesome! GL. HH!

OMG look it all those Mercs! Great hunt for sure.

Here is the picture of the 1916 dime from yesterday's hunt let me know what you think. I think it's a S cause I don't see the little spike off the back of the top what do you think.

Incredible hunt. Congrats on a day that would make anyone proud. The projectile is no doubt a "Foster type slug" made by nearly all manufacturers of shotgun ammo with a few variations from each. :icon_thumleft:

That was a great day if hunting! Show us the rest when u dig it up! Waiting

Wow - what a day ! ( that would be a great month for me ! ) I can't wait to see how you do next week on your return trip !
