I had an epic hunt yesterday at the homestead of the 2nd governor of Nevada, Lewis "Broadhorns" Bradley. This location was lost to time but through some investigating I found it. This location is a long way from where I live, 5 1/2 hours, but luckily my job sent me near there for a project. This gave me enough time to schedule a hunt. I contacted a local detectorist prior to making the trip. Luckily he knew the owners of the property and was able to obtain permission for us.

Now for the good stuff! I managed 3 seated 1/2's and my hunting partner got 2 of the most amazing buttons I've seen plus a shield nickel! We found a lot of age indicators, Henry shells, harmonica reeds, rivets, ox shoes, a rosette, and a tape measure that I thought was a pocket watch, plus a spoon and spoon parts. I also found the top to a California Powder Works can.
