Hello,

I was invited to a little beach hunt at a promising site, and big it delivered!

The three pack of us hunters had about 5 hours in the sun on a perfect hunting site. Coffee nearby, lots of space to roam, old bricks and glass everywhere!

First silver was a barber dime, found by a fellow tnetter, and we all got excited knowing what might unfold.

The finds were steady for me, and it was amazing. 2 silver Washington quarters off the bat, and
Wheaties throughout just to let you know you’re on the right track. Highlights were two silver halves, and the array of barbage coinage. My first complete sterling spoon (baby spoon?)

The site is a long haul from home - longest single mission I’ve taken for the hobby (about 3 hours to get there all said and done) but it was obviously worth it!

The barber quarter is a 1897-s - looks like the 4th lowest mintage barber quarter @540000
And the half is a 1915 –s

It was awesome Gather with fellow hunters, and have an instant connection, and jovial time!

Nice old coin shooting! :occasion14:

Thanks everyone, and especially to the tnetter who got me out there!

I got around to looking at the clad, and I wanted to show you all the picture!

Sounds like a ghost town hunt, if there were bricks and glass everywhere! Nice work!
