I'm actually happy it's raining here now. At least it warmed up to a balming 50 and I can hunt again without trying to chisel ice....

Nice finds! How deep were they, LOL? Is that gold on the earring? HH, Mike

You know ya got it bad when you sift the stuff in the dust pan! ;) We did that in Germany in the army but we was not looking for money. ;D

Geezzz!! You are a man with serious Cabin Fever.

That was a great web age you sent to mumszie. I will use it for future hunts.

In the mean time - Florida has over 800 miles of beaches, all waiting to be MDed, and way over 500K in hotel and motel rooms. Come on down! :)

ROTFL, Thats funny, your funny, I like you. Now I have seen it all from Dumpster Diving to Bank Roll Hunting and now Own House Floor Searching. ROTFL, anyway just so you don't scare anyone you should try this. I am making some coin rings from 90% silver I will post them as soon as everyone is going mad from the snow. At one point I could have searched the walls of our 1800's school house but its to late now remodeling is done. I will hunt the crawl space next season! Check behind your fuse box, people would put coins in fuse box's as temps. Do you have a old Piano you can find coins there and you can finds coins in paintings sometimes. My latest hunting place I want to try is Old abandoned Cars from the 50's.

Keep @ it and HH!!

Our home was built in 1930, and we have done some remodeling, not searching specifically.
The flooring is hardwood strips, maybe 2 inches wide, laid next to each other, so there are gaps. Not like the kind today that snaps together.
We insulated the basement ceiling, and to do so we had to remove the thin plywood that was there. It was full of dirt that had sifted down between the boards, and a nasty job.
Our one "find" was an old condom container, like the old aspirin tins. Fell out on our heads with the rest of the detritus.
I did search the yard, with no special success beyond a silver ring.
As for cars, I did find a very nice self winding 21 jewel Timex buried in the trunk of an "89 Tbird I purchased used.
Gave it as a gift to my father in law.
You just never know, do you?

Your not the only one, I have been doing laps in my house wanting to go out and swing that coil. With tomorrow going to be in the 40's and the next two days after that .I'm hope by monday I can get out to the old cellar holes and find something to take away the pain.....Keep on Digging(What SNOW)....Seeker

No you're not, ripped some plank's up in the attic at an old house I was renting in Wisconsin and found a 1932 hunting license that belonged to a buddy of mine's grandfather.Happy to say they are the owner's now.Try the attic

Also try close to the dead space at the floor where the roof line meet's,(in most old house's)mirror and a flashlight work great.
