well my two scoops are at the welding shop getting handles put on.they are coming up 1 foot off the basket then getting bent at 45 degrees then the rest of the handle is straight.im having both ends of the handle welded close so hopefully the air inside will hold the handles up in the water. plus im having a eye put on the end so as to tie a rope to the scoop.that should keep it from sinking. then im painting it orange. show them when i get them back and water test them.

I did it to my Beach Brute II and it doesn't work !!!!

Got that right-I tried it on one of my aluminum scoop handles and all I got was ONE GIANT MESS & more foam on me than in the handle! :laughing7: Also, NEVER TRY IT IN THE WIND :tongue3:

Best thing is using a pool noodle.
