Re: Spanish Mining Area

Well that was enough for me; I still have to go all the way back up the hill
So I turned around and headed back up to that small ridge I came down
On the way back is when I saw a Royal Trail Marker
Telling me that I am coming upon a Royal Trail
The Mule’s Ears points the way.

Re: Spanish Mining Area

What makes this a Royal Trail Marker?
Because the Lion is present - Representing The King, Royalty
And also if you look real close, you can see the Lion's nose is touching
The Large Heart, which is the Mule's Shoulder, Back and the Belly
Also the Triangle with the Dot is also incorporated into this Marker

Re: Spanish Mining Area

The Mule or Horse as we know was their main sores of transportation
So it represents a Trail of some sort - and is a very common Trail Marker

The Bear – Represents The Biggest Danger that is in the area
The Bear and Mule’s Heads are touching
Could be that the mule is the one at great risk,
being weighted down with heavy packs, making it an easy target for the Bear

Re: Spanish Mining Area

Boy was that a slow and steep hike back up
But as I stayed on the trail back I finally crested the top of the ridge
I could see now what the Mule’s Ears were pointing too
The silhouette of the Lion pointing out the way

Re: Spanish Mining Area

Well that’s the end of this day’s journey
As you can see following the Royal Trail can bring you near Mining Areas.
The problem I have, is that haunting feeling I get
That keeps me wanting to come back to find other secrets
What else is out there? To find or uncover!

A reminder to all you treasure hunters
Keep an open mind, anything is possible
Because reality is a matter of attitude and perception.
Enjoy the journey, that’s where the real adventure lies
As for the real treasures - your (Heart and Soul)
Don’t lose them, while in the search for Gold
I pray that all your journeys will be safe ones.

As so lovely a journey and helpful. You make it look like a lyrical poem....in words and visions.

Thanks!

Yeah, I tend to find myself in the real world most of the time - guess it's that disappointing slap of reality along side the head. I need to keep reminding myself that this particular forum topic, like video games, is merely a fun diversion at times for clouders. It doesn't belong in the realm of genuine truth seeking - it's only for the amusement of the wannabes who have never actualy seen a true treasure sign. I guess I need to remind myself that the true stuff will never, ever find its way to a public forum. Those who realize this fact will move on if they're still curious about this topic. Those who don't get it will continue with the foolishness here. But, like I've always said - there's nothing wrong with spending time in the great outdoors sucking in fresh air and getting exercise. In fact, I guess I'll quit posting here altogether - that recent weeklong server failure reminded me what a waste of time this forum really is.

Happy Holidays to you too, and Happy Hunting.

Thom, this is why that gentleman is on my "ignore" list. :coffee2:

I won't ignore the ones who participate with a solid purpose. I'll never ignore a sound thinking level headed person like Springfield.
The ones I have on ignore are the stirrers who are here only to agitate and be trolls.
Miss out on too much good information if you ignore the wrong ones.

I'll take that as a compliment Thom - thanks. By the way, even though I often disagree with your conclusions, I usually understand your reasoning and respect your opinions. For any who I've offended with my statements - I apologize out of courtesy, but I stand by what I've said 100%.

LH,
Thank you for the journey and the great info, we (my kid and I) enjoyed it and look forward to more.

Happy holidays to all

Thanks. (I meant it as a compliment)
I'll say it now in case I don't make it back before the season is over...
Merry Christmas Friends.

What a treat for those of us who cant get out into the Great West to be able to see what you were able to see. No matter how "sappy" it sounds, I felt like I was there as well as I was reading each post. You have described it so all can make sense of things. Thanks !

Along the Royal Trail with Lost Horse

Well here we are again.
I have got some very interesting things to share with you

I spent last winter and the early spring researching and getting to know
This Spanish Mining Area, that was located by following a Royal Trail
I have learned a lot by putting the boots to the ground
This is such a large area; I am only going to show some highlights
I believe they occupied this area for a very long time due to the quality
Of the Markers - Rock Art - as they should be called today

Take note:
I am no expert
And my perspective and Interpretations are only my view of things

To those who want to get into this kind of field work
My suggestion is to do what I do
When I start out I wear my Archeologist hat
When I find a Mining area I put on my Geologist hat
And at the end I put on my Photo Journalist hat
This will help you widen your view of knowledge on this subject

So now, come be entertained :read2: :coffee2:
And come with me as we follow Markers
To the Heart of this mining area I call “The Dragons Layer”
