Awsome d ay out in the field , I would hit that place hard and slow. If that is there then you know their should be more where it came from and then some coins and I would defientantly be digging everything that beeped HH and may you find alot more silver is always good to find in the ground gold is also.. Remebember pure gold is a lower tone than the silver almost faint if it is small. good luck

thanks man i was stoked when i found that i had couple hits little distance away from it, then they disappeared so i moved on an found this

Dig all signals never know there might be a iron box full of those bars somewhere on that site
Good luck to ya

Bounty hunter no less!! Go "all metal" and dig everything that beeps! What a find, I'ld of been doin' the silver dance!

Very well done, low and slow now and post up your finds. I know you will find more good stuff there. HH

Very nice find! I found one too! Unless you think its deep...yes...I would turn it down some. A bar like that should put off a good signal so you should pick it up in any case. Often the case, with too much sens....you cant hear what you want , if theres too much noise.

GOOD LUCK To you!

Dig, Dig, Dig!! And dig some more! Lol! Congrats

That would make my day. Hit that place hard and keep us updated. Excellent find.

Congrats on your find and good luck in finding more!

2 ounces huh? If it were silver that size would be closer to 4 ounces. Sure it's not aluminum?

I'm assuming it is indeed silver. If so, my suggestion would be to ignore the suggestion by jamesbondaka. Full sensitivity and dig every noise, just as has been suggested. This is the kind of sight you don't want to leave any "junk" signals. Someone that caches a single piece of crude silver like that is almost guaranteed to have cached other treasures. And they may be deep. So you want your sensitivity high. Just my opinion.

And no disrespect meant to jamesbondaka. I would agree with his suggestion in other situations...just not in this one.

OO

Thanks for all the comments I've tested it an had it looked at its def silver bar can't wait to get back out there shortly

What do you think accounts for the porousness look to that "silver bar?"

It's proberbly like that because Silver items have been melted down, and then cooled quickly.....Good find, and I agree with outhers to hit that site.
