When you tend to collect- actually take home- and actually save random bits and pieces, one tends to have quite a few baskets and bowls of this and that. None of it particularly valuable save for the fact that they were interesting enough- pretty enough to pack up and take home. 'Course, I realize this is the glass and bottle forum...And I don't really dig any further than my hand claw can scratch, so I find what I find. Over time, I've filled basket after basket. From the kitchen repository to the attic 'mad' room, the baskets move, and when there's both time and motivation, I make what I call 'river totems' (since so many dumps are found right next to- and eroding into- the locals rivers). I also feel very proud that I'm removing 'dump material' and putting it in its rightful place: my book shelf or mantle (where it belongs...). Yes, sometimes I really do have too much time on my hands! So here are some of my er... totems.
Just me and my glue gun and a bunch of found objects, surviving the long winter...occupational therapy, perhaps Cheers! Yak
