Got 2 Car items ??? ???
I'm really not sure.........The word "Albatross" has some of the black enamaling left behind the letters
I was once told something about a rare proto type car???
Appears to made of brass/bronze
The other one "McLean", I was told a tractor, and a car???
The red and white enameling is still pterry good on this one
Thanks for looking
Thanks in advance for any help

Interesting about it possibly being a car badge from an albatross prototype..

as far as i can find.the albatross co. lived and died in 1939 with no info if they ever built a single car or a prototype. ??major lack of info??

on Nov 4, 1939. A Packard was introduced at the 40th annual auto show in chicago with the first
automobile air conditioning system. A very high end luxury costing 25% of the entire vehicle.
Cadillac in 1941 followed suit and built 300 air conditioned cars.

unfortunately it doesnt prove or disprove anything :)
but...interesting

I'd say no to the airplane idea. There were Albatros biplanes in W.W.I, but they didn't have air conditioning. There's also a Gossamer Albatross, but that's a 70s-80s experimental plane that wouldn't have been mass produced or commercially available.
Definitely car, IMO.
