I don’t know if this is the best place but google isn’t filling me with confidence with the recommendations… I have to re build part of my house after a tree fell on it. Under one part is a cistern, I was always told that but never knew what it looked like because they laid floor right over the top… it’s much bigger than I thought 13.5’ deep and pretty big around…. Concrete seems to be in fine shape mostly dry… I’d like to go down and see it from inside and maybe even have an emergency tornado shelter, I’m worried about the air down in it though. I was thinking about an air tester but google is obsessed with air quality testers and I’m not so much worried if the pollen is high I’m more concerned with like radon gas or something like that…. Anyone know of an appropriate tester to know it’s safe?
