You can still get them today, so no positive way to tell the age.
The depth and degree of oxidation is about the only way and that's a guess...

Did you fine them near water or in a field?

If in a field they may be bell clappers.

Should be a number on it "3", "4", probably from around 1900.

They were near the water, so definitely fishing sinkers. Or, quite possibly, some 16th century Warrior medallions.
