I'm almost ashamed to say I didn't take all the jewelry that I saw...it was mostly costume and junk, but I take only unbroken, pretty stuff that I can use or sell. I've had years of selling experience, and Hubby doesn't take kindly to my accumulating junk.
Here's what I grabbed in a minute:

I think the stone is orange calcite (I posted asking for identification in the gems/stone forum thread so still wating on that one), the mother of pearl necklace is nice (but not worth more than a buck) but the silver bracelet is hollow silver with two heart cutouts inside and a cursive "abc" stamp inside. No silver mark, but this doesn't bother me as I've polished it up and determined it's not plate. I think both the stone and the bracelet are from Mexico - just guessing from the quality of stuff that was out at the curb.
Not bad, for free!

The rock looks kinda like a Himalayan Salt Lamp . does it have a hole in the bottom?

I was thinking the same thing on the salt lamp when I read this yesterday. Didn't mention it because she mentioned orange calcite. Thought maybe the color was more orange in person, versus the pink color it appears to be in the photo. I have one of those salt lamps myself sitting on a table in the other room. Wouldn't take much to make it a lamp again.

I would love to see a close up of the mark on the bracelet. The design on it looks more middle eastern or even Asian to me, versus Mexican. Nice curb finds.

PS- You should tell your husband that he should be lucky you haven't set him to the curb yet with his attitude... just saying.

Curb finds are great!! I have found some good stuff "after the yard sale".
