adapter for coil? Snapped off coil lugs/ears

Heck, mix up some epoxy and fix it yourself. It should fix that up real nice and quick.

Doubtful, that is about the highest stress point on the coil and minimal surface area to provide adhesive strength. You likely would need some backing material and then you are limited by the coil attachment hardware points.

Better than doing nothing I guess, but it would not last very long at all. One good bump into even corn stubble and I bet you are history and fatigue loading simply due to swinging will cause it to pop off over time.

Wont the place you got it from replace it

Retailers are not responsible for warranty issues, they refer you to the warranty center, only way retailer would replace coil would be if XP advised them to replace it under warranty and XP would send them a warranty replacement coil or give credit.

So, I've managed to break my new X35 coil. I've seen a repair done on Facebook - there's an adapter that lies flat on the coil; you can grind the remaining parts off, apply the adapter to the coil, and attach the shaft to the adapter. There are three different ones, one for each size black coil, supposedly made by XP.

I've found a UK dealer with them in stock but am trying to find someone in the US who has them. Anyone have a lead?
This would be my fix.... I would cut a similar piece of plastic to face outside of the broken ear. Then drill and tap or through bolt stainless small stainless or nylon screws to hold in place. And then fix the whole thing in place with J-B Weld filling in the void for be missing plastic. Allow the cure for 24 hours we should be good to go, j-B Weld is amazing stuff

Could probably 3d model a replacement. Give it slots on the bottom for the remainder of the brackets to slide into so it would act as additional structure and alignment. It would have to be raised a little to provide space, but it would work. Prototype with a cheap FDM but get the real one printed on a high end machine out of nylon.

It'll be ugly and a fixed angle if you use shoe goo, you can get a red tube of it at walmart by the shoes.
