I was wondering if anyone has tried using the Ace 250 stock coil in the ATP. If so what was your experience. TY

Pretty sure the connectors are completely different and would not work at all.

Even if the connectors were to work, it would not be calibrated to the ATP. Actually I don't think the ATP's coils are calibrated as there is to much difference between the AT Pro's. Some are rock steady and others are way out there.

i have no problems with mine sandman. I'm looking to get another detector and will not get rid of the pro. It works that good for me and where I live. I used it on a Lake Erie beach recently and I was impressed to say the least. I may just get the at gold since I love the pro so much. Just my exp. and opinion though. Others may not like the sounds or never learn to use it. How you been feeling? You been doing any detecting yet this year?
