Well since I got into this hobby seriously few months ago, I have been hitting everywhere I could hard, and trying to get access to some new places. Well this weekend I finally got into one of those new places and had a great time. No trash to speak of and 2 hours of hunting yielded a flattened minie ball, two mangled pieces of lead (that probably were minie balls at some point), my first flat button (and it still had the shank!), and my favorite find was a perfect dropped colt .44! Then another spot yielded a nice lighter, that was apparently lost by one of my distant relatives. So by far my best weekend detecting so far!

The Lead is camp lead, melted in the fires.

Congratulations on the nice finds! :occasion14:

The monogrammed lighter is a cool find.
