IMG_5288.webpIMG_5291.webpimg157.webpIMG_0608.webp Hi I wanted to share a coin I found that I can't identify because of it's condition. (yes I have abused it, but my curiosity is greater than my desire to preserve an almost featureless coin.) It is about 30mm, copper and if I had to guess I would say Edward III. I can make out Edward, and part of a bust on one side and "BRITAN" which I assume is Britannia on the other side. The strange thing about the other side is that there seems to be some other strike marks (ignore the deep slices (I think) They seem to have been made with a sharp edge (maybe someone used it as a small cutting surface) I can not make out any image of Britannia her self.
I live in rural Nova Scotia and metal detect mostly my own property. I have a few dozen coins form about 1820 on wards. Any help would be great; just to add to the story of my property.

thanks
Alan
