i have a ton of those - they r great ! - the former owner of my home worked for the phone company used to bring home the wooden cross pcs to heat his horse barn ~ he either burned the whole thing or threw away the insulators - i think i recovered most of them ~ the bigger ones make great door stops ~ nice find none the less - leftybassplayer 8)

big brown and greys ~ medium clears , greens ~ and small green and clears
the small greens are very old
on the 'net i have seen places in cali. that charge major bucks - BUT
i see the same ones in my area pa/oh that go up to 20.00
the big browns are usually around 5 bucks (at flea market)
they may have been used for power lines.
the clear colored ones have the raised letters to identify.

I have seen alot of those at antique stores, once i saw a purple cracked one and it was so neat looking :o

yes like i said some of the ones i have were listed for 500-1000 bucks ~ they were selling not buying ~
then i would find them on site closer to the east coast where i live for practically nothing !
it was a big discrepancy on price ~ so i think i will keep mine for another 20 yrs or so - i think the price will only go up :o leftybassplayer
