FINALLY !!!

A super nice day to go hunting. Just a long sleeve shirt...no gloves !!! ....................+6 degrees and sunny !!

Decided to try hunting most of the day in DISCRIM MODE ...the hot rocks are bad in this place for ALL METAL.

Came across the copper button up high on the beach... the nicest one to date for a copper button...very pleased to have it !!

Moved down the beach half way to low water and hit another high tone...was happy to see the target was flat...covered in mud. Knew it was must be a coin or button...then seen that it was too thick to be a coin and seen a pattern on the outside edge !!!

Was then grinning and excited as I knew it was a MILITARY BUTTON !!!

Intact and in very good shape....but I,m not totally sure of the number.... is it a 5 ?

The Military button thats on the banner is a 57 .......this button is only half the size of the Banner 57 one.

UPDATE ON THE COPPER BUTTON..

Well... I been looking at this... and I see an image on the button.

Have a look let me know if you see anything and what you see.....

I see a eagles breast and head ..breast goes up the right side of the button and the head is at the top left of the coin.

For some reason I always see birds...lolol.

lol...ya--but I have a habit of seeing birds on things for some reason...prolly nothing there at all...just the way the wear is on it.

or maybe just nothing there but wear leaving optical illusions.....interesting nonetheless....first fancy copper button I have found like that.
