We started at a school that we have been doing recently that has produced a lot of silver. My first hit was a good 1-28 on the se pro. It turned out to be a 1944 merc. I was thinking it was gonna be a good day! My brother ended up with a girl scout pin, our first buffalo nickel, and a little button. I ended up with the merc, a wheat and an old bale seal that was found at an old park that used to be a school house from the mid 1800s to early 1900s. If anyone knows anything about the bale seal, I would like to know more about it. Thanks for looking!

nice digs! wish those buffalo nickels came out of the ground better. Wonder how old that GS pin must be? HH!

sweet, love the mercs and love the buffs

I think that the gs pin is from the 40s. Not entirely sure, but most of the stuff we find there is from the 40s.

Nice digs and thanks for those pics
