Hit another park I hadn't been to yet. Found a descent amount of clad (almost $9), a ring, a strange pendant, a Taurus sign pendant, a key, 20 centavos, a little skull thingy and a couple of toys.
The ring is 925 but unfortunately was found by the mower before I found it.
I needed a break from looking at grass, so I located an old dirt road heading out of town.
Got a real shallow nickel signal and popped a 1901 V nickel from just under the surface.
Also scored a 1946 Rosie, a cool 2-piece button, a live .38 S&W, a .32 S&W shell, a 32 Special rifle shell and some other odd bits.
My wife was with me and taking pics with her iPhone. Here's one of them featuring a dying cholla cactus.
It was a nice, sunny day and I'm thankful to be here right now. I know many of you are getting hit hard with cold weather and just hope it passes soon.
