My Indian head penny is toast, also found a few old buttons...

Nice finds, gotta love those barbers. That charm is awesome, I think it looks like a buffulo. Congrats on some nice finds.

Nice finds. Good looking Barber. I find a gas valve from time to time as well. Way to go.

Your right, it's a buffalo haha, the dime cleaned up really nice. It's in great shape. I've had my AT Pro for about 2 months, I'm starting to get the hang of it. I'm havin a great time! Thanks guys!

Awesome finds. I have yet to find a barber coin. Crazy so anytime I c someone finding one which is all the time I get jealous. Haha no but I wonder when mine is gonna come. The has valve is sweet I just found one the other day as well. They r the old Victorian light gas valves. Here's the one I found.. They r worth about 10-15 bucks and r sold on eBay all the time. Thanks for posting!

Awesome finds, that barber has been hiding from me for 2 1/2 yrs now, ill find him though

Very nice finds. The Barber is really nice. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone, I cleaned up the Barber a bit and it really is in good shape. You can see all the details, it has some damage above the E but who cares! I'm really happy with it. I've been detecting for about a year or so and it's my first Barber. I've only found one other silver coin and it was a Roosevelt. I also got my first Indian head but it was pretty toasted. Looking forward to another hunt on Tuesday...IMG_7487.PNGIMG_7489.PNG

Bcuttinplugs, you have some nice finds there. The valve looks a lot like mine. Nice buffalo nickel to, i've yet to find one of those....

I find those gas valves all the time, i just throw them into the scrap bucket, i was thinking bull durham for your buffalo charm
but i think the bulls head is turned to face out, great finds.

I hope u didn't scrap em yet. Brass n copper fetches a nice premium but no where near what a collector gives ya.. If it's old there's a collector for it. Btw ur running totals r pretty amazing, I could only imagine. Must have had some great sites.
