OK...got a new site to hunt this past week and was anxious to get there and see what it had for me. First day.....Oh my gosh....trash....everywhere, but did manage to find the ugliest Merc that I have ever seen. A lot of the trash there was mostly tin...from the roof of the old house that use to be here. Stayed in that immediate area for the first day. Second day....looked around the old rock wall and notice that obviously someone had already been there detecting as there were old horseshoes and iron doodad's everywhere. 
There is a house above this site on the same property and I had permission to hunt there too so I headed up that way. Was there for a couple of minutes and the person that rents the place drove up. Had a quick conversation and was told that they had already detected the place....I said....Yeah...I can see that! Looked around anyway and found a nice silver dime. 
It's so hot here that hunting for more than a couple of hours at a time is very exhausting! I'm heading for the lake and hope to get to do some hunting there. Hope you all have a great week!
