Metal Detecting
My treasure hunting has been limited to Coinstar reject trays, Dirt Cups, and random loose change at the gas station....too hot to beep, and my Z-Lynks crapped out on me....
So while I was fueling up, the self-serve vacuum was right there, so I went a scrounging.....
I've never seen the little service door open before, but today.....JACKPOT!!!

After copious amounts of soap, disinfectant, and a hot shower, I'll add this little bounty to my change bucket.:headbang:

I miss metal detecting.

Nice! And you can save up the clad to buy some hand sanitizer[emoji23]

No messier than some of the beaches around here.

I knew a girl who got charged for petty larceny for doing the same thing. They claimed the contents of those vacuum cleaners is the sole property of the car wash owner.

Your too much Dave, hunt on my man!

in most states this would be a "larceny" :sad7:

I guess the assumption was that her bounty was less than $500.00, which is usually the determining factor between petty larceny and a larceny.
Her fine and court costs were way more than the amount she took from the vacuum, so she went backwards on her endeavor.
