A members pin

I am the live in caretaker of a historic cemetery in wv.my house is located on our property(17acres)and was built in 1901,i found this pin under a floor board in the attic.i have no idea where it came from,what it was a member of or even age.any help would be great!

Neat find, It could belong to a member of any type of club or organization. Chances are, you may never know because there just isnt enough information on the badge to help ID it.
 

You are a MEMBER of the relic appreciating fellowship. Not many (or any) others of us have a fancy pin! What are you going to put on the ribbon before you start wearing or displaying it?

We have local freemasons and knights of pythias and there used to be oddfellows so you are right i wish there were makers marks.

Im always messing in the cemetery i wouldnt wear it for fear of loss but we are adding it to the small amount of things we have in the office museum.i have books back to 1850 to find family here were old school nothing digitized lol my best thing is a cloth scroll map from 1854
 

Is there a record of the caretakers from the early 20th C? You might be able to check a few names to see if any of them belonged to fraternal organizations. It's a long shot but it would be an interesting exercise.

They are basic records.name,birth date,death date and name of funeral home and a # marking them on the map.we have the names of a few so i will try going thru some records later.thats an idea i never thought of,thank you!
