How my day went:
1) Dump
2) $100 MWR Halves - Skunk
3) Get a call from a bank saying they've got $190 in halves someone brought in. Go check it out. Guy (Jim) gives them to me. A male teller asks the Jim "How did you get all those rolls?!?" As he's handing the rolls to me Jim says "Someone looked through them, took all the silver out, and dropped them off here."
Female teller looks over at me and says "Oh, are you a coin collector??" "Yeah, but there's plenty to look for besides silver..." Then she says "Jim just found a mercury dime yesterday!!" Thanks for that bit of knowledge...guy that appears to be the vault manager is a coin collector. Needless to say, skunk!
4) Tried out a new coin machine...works amazing! gonna have to keep this in mind going forward.
5) $9 in loose halves...nothing.
6) Started proposing ordering boxes to vault managers. Got one vault manager to get me on a recurring 4 halves boxes per week order
; however, it's a branch location. This order apparently goes through the main location where the guy is turning into a real box nazi. I'm only able to do 1-3 boxes per week right now, so this would really help with the volume. Here's hoping.
7) Got two boxes of dimes and a box of quarters.
