Went out this weekend, and had a little fun, of course alot more shotgun shells. But did find a couple of little spots with some worth while digs. I got fired Williams Cleaner, I dont know if a fancy knife or Razor, and 2 piece flower button, back is gone, but have the front and cotton wadding in back of it. but the big iron was the Dutch Oven, that sucker was over 3 foot in the ground. i dug on that thing for over 45 mins. My Nautilus was picking it up, but my pin pointer did not touch it. Had to get my friend over to with his detector to see if he could pick it up also. But as i was digging i was pulling up chards of wood from the firepit. So they left it right there on the fire. but it has part of the handle and two of the legs. I am going to try to clean this up a little. but take a look at the knife/razor and give me your thoughts. i found three pieces of it. front, back and one little brass part. there is a small piece that swivels in the middle but i thought other piece broke off that but not sure.
Just an update, the cast iron i thought was a dutch oven, is called a 3 leg spider skillet. Pretty cool
