Wow - all that gold in a few hours of panning in Vermont? That's impressive! I won't insult you by asking for insight on where in Vermont, though if you were willing to share something about the general area it would be appreciated.
By the way there's a long-running thread called "MA/VT/NH Panning" where a bunch of us have been posting our results from those three New England states. Check out: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/panning-gold/313857-ma-vt-nh-panning-45.html

Northern vt I have never panned southern vt. There is still quite a few people in this area doing it. pretty much every stream has gold in it just some are way better then others. But takes all lot of time to find good concentrations.

Thanks gold panner. I appreciate the response! Keep panning that gold, and posting pictures!

Great job! Beautiful yella! :occasion14:

There is visable bedrock in most creeks in Vermont. It helps since we do not have the gold like you guys do out
west.

Wow! Nice job, that is really good!

Did you use a sluice, or it that all from panning?

I have a sluice but really like panning more. I have not used the sluice at all this summer. I will post some more gold pics if I can find some more. And of course the end of year clean-up. unfortunately busy with work this week so do not think I will get out.
