I live in the St Cloud area and just got back from Florida. My immediate family and I (my kids, their spouses, and their kids....40 in all) spent a week on a beach near Sarasota. Of course I had to detect. I found a 1930(P) Wheatie and $6.81 in common change plus a large Tungsten wedding band with an inside marking "BENCHMARK" with 'Tungsten/WC' below the word BENCHMARK. It weighs 15.3 grams. Tungsten's weight (density) is the same as gold and is a very hard metal. Heck, in the past I've found gold, silver, aluminum, and steel rings, but never a Tungsten ring. Now for a Platinum ring, eh? Paladium?
