I got for a little hunting today, nothing special, just a couple of public spots.

I managed to find a ton of trash, and a hand full of clad.

Here is the kind of junk that I find. Costume jewelry and a big aluminum token... I did find a dollar coin, that’s actually worth a dollar, so technically it’s not junk.

When I dug this dime, it was not shiny, so like all the clad dimes I dig, I rubbed It vigorously, hoping it would start to shine... of course this never happens, but this one stared to shine! I was amazed to see 1957 on it. YTD silver coin number 15.

When I dug this, It looked sort of like a silver ring, but sort of like a pull ring. I wiped it, and it looked silver.

I broke the clod up, and it really started looking like a silver ring.

Sure enough, little silver ring... gotta LOVE that!

A couple of wheaties also showed up, all in all, not a bad day for me.
