Just dug these 2 pieces about an hour ago and yeah it was cold outside for now just would like to know what this was a part of checking for any markings now

It looks to be a foot off of something like a table or a plant stand, treadle sewing machine or something along those lines.I think I would rule out pot belly stove though it doesn't look thick enough for the weight of a stove.

I come across them every now and then at mid-1800's sites but it could be towards the end of the 1800's too.

To me it looks like early 1900s Spelter or pot metal, from a bigger decorative piece/statue. (unknown)
