A Hoosier Boy's First Florida Detecting Trip!

I'm flying out in the morning to Bonita Springs with my AT Pro and a good sand scoop. I've always been a dirt hunter so sand will be an exciting experience. I plan on wading a bit at a private island beach in Bonita Springs and hitting public beaches in the area. Anyone have experience hunting here? Hope I don't get arrested for testing out my AT Pro in the shallows! Thanks for any input guys!

Bring your surf board instead or look for the wash out's there is going to be a lot of erosion.
