Hello everyone. I saw that we were gonna have soon showers about noon today so I thought it would be a good time to detect. The rain quit about 1 this afternoon so I quickly exited my truck for a quick hunt.
I recovered a handful of musket balls and they are always welcome. Somewhere along the way this afternoon I pulled up this 1913 s Barber dime. The land owner loves coins so I made my way to her home to give her the coin. Guess I should have googled up the value before I gave it away! Argh!!!
My last two finds were the dragoon cuff button and then the Artillery coat button. It was recovered from a depth of 13 inches. Also pulled up a beautiful period white faceted bead in the hole.
Thank you for looking and happy hunting to all!

Nice harvest on your site Finder, I am a great believer in Karma and your gifting of the semi-key date coin will come back to you in unseen ways. At least you know you dug it. I gave away a civil war bullet earlier this year to a local shop owner in town and meant to give him a sharps and accientally gave him the only gardener I ever found and kind of been kicking myself ever since but like to think everything happens for a reason. Anyway nice finds take care.
