A good farm hunt i might have found a bronze cannon piece 17th century ?

Friday and Saturday i went on a team hunt 80 acre farm lots of coppers where found 36 a few half cents and some KG,s , 4- 1/2 reale,s 1 -1 reale all mid 1700,s and BUTTONS !! way to many to count for 40 people , i think i found a English bronze cannon breach it looks like it exploded at the touch hole i tried to find the rest but no luck i did well a few coins lots of buttons 1 musket ball 2 brass saddle rivets a lead bail seal and a brass ring . WoW, that sounds like an awesome site!
I have a small bronze cannon (5-6") that Antiquarian gave to me,
don't know it's provenance or age, it is different in design from yours..
Some with provenance are very pricey on Epay.
Without knowledge of how much powder to load in these,
I can understand the catastrophic failure at the touchhole....

I have yet to fire mine :laughing7:
