A good day at an 1871 farmstead site

out to a long gone farmstead site and found these. 1800s pheasant sporting button 7/8” diameter, and an 1845 large cent. Put a smile on my face.
Had to clean up the button and large cent in the tumbler .

Your pheasant button is likely late 1800s or a bit newer. Here’s a history of pheasants in IL.
