🔎 UNIDENTIFIED A friend sent me these two Pictures

I asked for better pictures but they have yet to some. I asked him to put something in the pictures we could get an idea of the items size also / Do any of yopu have ANY IDEAS ?

I spent 20 yrs in a machine shop and I think I’d call that a gauge.

ToddsPoint is probably correct. It does appear to be just that... guage.

But it could be used to hold something very small.... very still. Gare... was your friend a machinist? It "appears" other tools are lying around close to it.

Myh friend was a heavy equipment operator. i think he found it at a job site
